This low-maintenance design provides lots of space for entertaining and scores highly when using our sustainability calculator, as there are almost no hard-paved areas. Recycled timber is used for screening, and drip irrigation is used for watering species specially selected for their hardiness. A semi-circular area paved with compacted dolomite is given a dramatic feel at night by a series of low-voltage Accento lamps. Data from the specification sheet for the lamps was used to set a series of circles showing the extent of light spill.
