Designing for wheelchair access

YouTube movie  We were asked to make a movie showing how blocks from the gCADPlus library might be used to better inform design decisions. While working on a design for an enclosed entertaining space, we used a block for the gCADPlus library to check for free movement of a wheelchair. A block combining plan, side, and elevation views showing the space required for free movement of a wheelchair was imported and exploded to create a plan view of the space required by a wheelchair user. This plan view block was then moved along an access path into the entertaining space. We resolved clear clashes by making relatively minor design changes that we believe resulted in an improved design that allowed access by all potential users.
