This design for a rear garden features a lawned area with a paved, screened entertaining space. The species symbols have been designed to illustrate the ability of gCADPlus software to apply transparency to closed entities such as polylines, polygons, and circles. For example, applying transparency to a symbol for a tree enables hardscape elements and understory plants to be visible through the tree canopy.
Tip: Using entities with transparency is also useful if you would like to make subtle changes to the color of a filled entity.
Tip: If transparency is applied to entities in a drawing, it is not possible to use PDF writers such as CutePDF, PDFWriter, and BullZip to print a high-resolution PDF copy of the design. For that, we provide a SAVE As PDF option on the File drop-down menu.
