Convert species data in spreadsheets to plant database files

Using a spreadsheet, we compile a list of plant species suitable for Nebraska and convert it into a tab-separated file, which we then save as an internal database (.gcp) file. We work on a design for a semi-rural hobby farm, load the GCP file, demonstrate the sorting and search capabilities in the gcp file, import a group of plant symbols from the gCADPlus library, and begin linking each symbol to an entry in the database file, ready for generating a plant schedule.
